Saarela Gård: A small stable located in endless surroundings.

Although we are small, we are surrounded by endless surroundings, which definitely had its impact on our mindset. We never see a limit on our possibilites! Saarela is a local approved stable for riding facilities in Lakselv, North of Norway. We have 10 amazing and unique horses, for breeding, training, activities and therapy. Icelandic horses is known as the horse of the viking, bred of the vikings. We are be best known for our world's northernmost riding camp. The stable and the firm was established in 2010, and since then we have made it through several international books, blogs and vlogs, with guests visiting us from all over the world. You can find us in Lakselv, the heart of Finnmark.

Your guide and riding instructor. Daughter at the farm, master student in psychology, based in Denmark, with a big passion for horses, riding and nature adventures from a small age. Backround: Passed the examination in horse knowledge at NIHF level I and II in 2010. Riding instruction academy in 2012. Examined local judge of NIHF as the youngest of Norway in 2012. Worked as a judge for 6 years. Passed academy of coaching and communication from the Norwegian sports federation. Two exams in animal assisted therapy. Competed in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland. Our team.Nelly Ollila Larsen, Maiken Mathisen & Björk Atladottir. Our professional team has a long experience, competing on horses and riding in advanced environments and rough nature. We have a lot of helping hands in our team, young and experienced riders. The horses are spirited, balanced and relaxed, bred especially for pleasurable rides. Our team will do their best to pick out a perfect match for you. You are in safe hands.
